2011 Season Launch

The Tasmanian Ballet Company's 2011 season of "Swan Lake" was launched  by the Company's patron, His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, the Honorable Mr. Peter Underwood A.C. at the Derwent Entertainment Centre, in Glenorchy.

Around eighty guests were in attendance including Mayor Adriana Taylor of the Glenorchy City Council along with many of the company's long term sponsors and supporters.

During the launch, there was a comprehensive brief about the Tasmanian Ballet Company including future aims, development and objectives and the opportunity was taken to thank our sponsors and supporters.  

Swan Lake will the first ballet to be performed at this venue, Tasmania's largest indoor performance venue, with over 5,200 seats, for nearly 20 years.
