The Tasmanian Ballet Company is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee. It has an elected Board of seven Directors headed by a Chairman.

Membership to the Tasmanian Ballet Company  is open to any person  upon payment of an annual membership fee. Members of the Tasmanian Ballet Company are entitled to stand for election to the Board and to vote at general meetings of the Company.
