Erin Davie

Erin was born in Brisbane, where she started her dancing at the age of 6. She continued dancing when her family moved to Singapore and in 1994 when they moved to Sydney she enrolled at The Robyn Kirkland School of Ballet. Her full time training was completed at the renowned John Neumeier School in Hamburg, Germany, graduating in 2005 with a Diploma in Dance. Erin joined Ballet Ireland in 2006 for the Tchaikovsky Celebration season, where she danced in excerpts from Drushba, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. She went on to dance with Ballet Ireland in various roles in The Nutcracker, A Christmas Carol and Die Fledermaus in which she danced the role of Ida. In 2009 Erin performed with the West Australian Ballet for their seasons of Giselle and Romeo and Juliet and she joined the Melbourne Ballet Company in their June 2010 season Infinite Space. Erin's first season with The Tasmanian Classical Ballet Company was in 2010 where she was delighted to perform a number of roles including Clara and the Dewdrop Fairy. She is looking forward to performing again with the company in this year's season of Swan Lake.
