Amy commenced her dance training in Western Australia in 1994. She undertook her training at both the The Studio of Classical and Contemporary Dance and The Dardanup Dance Centre. At age 12 she toured with the WA Young Dancers Company, performing "Alice in Wonderland" . In 2005, she won the 'Iluka Classical Ballet Award', entitling her to a week with the West Australian Ballet Company.
In 2008, Amy was offered a position at The West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, (WAAPA) where she completed her Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts. In 2010, Amy was selected to perform for the West Australian Ballet's production of "The Sleeping Beauty".
In 2011, Amy moved to Melbourne to join Melbourne Dance Theatre where she performed in their Malthouse Theatre season of Heroes. Following this, she joined the Tasmanian Classical Ballet Company for the season of Swan Lake. Amy is very excited to be able to return to Tasmania in 2012 for her second season with the company.
