Allyne King


 

Allyne started training at the age of 4 in Papua New Guinea, before returning to Australia to continue her studies at the National Theatre Ballet School, under the direction of Beverly Jane Fry. Allyne, whilst at the national, completed a 3 year Advanced Diploma in Classical Dance, and has attained her Solo Seal. 

Allyne has performed many Principle roles such as; 'The Sylph' La Sylphide, 'Cinderella' Cinderella, 'Kitri' Don Quixote, as well as other soloist roles in both Classical and Contemporary dance. Allyne has also completed a season with Melbourne Ballet Company's Project 7 'Infinate Space'. After her debut last year with the Tasmanian Ballet company, performing 'Clara/Sugarplum' in Nutcracker, Allyne is very much looking forward to working with the company again for Swan Lake.
